Andrea Pirlo has played down talk of a return to Juventus.
The former midfielder has been linked with the U23 job at Juve.
But Pirlo says: "I am more inclined towards the senior squads to youth ones.
“I think that I need a precise objective to aim for. I want to feel the adrenaline of the game, the victory or defeat, that responsibility.
"I don't believe the youth teams are right for me, that's not something I'd enjoy. I would prefer to start with grown-ups."
He added: “Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri both taught me so much. I don't think the hands-off coach really exists nowadays, as even when Allegri seemed from the outside as if he wasn't giving that many tactical indications, he worked very hard.
“The first time I considered becoming a coach was after a tactical lesson from Conte, as he'd do ones for at least 40 minutes each. That was when I thought to myself, I want to do this too."
