Sweden manager Janne Andersson admitted his delight at being able to call on Victor Lindelof again.
The Manchester United defender has been missing with injury and family issues in previous qualifiers.
But he is fully fit and will be a part of the Sweden squad for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Norway.
Andersson said to reporters: "Victor has been very important to us. Obviously getting back a player of that calibre is only positive. Furthermore, he is injury-free [which] is important to us in the longer term. For me, Victor is an absolute world-class defence player.
"At the same time, we must remember that the players who came in when he was away did a very good job. We have a good competitive position when it comes to mid-back positions."
