Anderson Arroyo has joined Liverpool's first team for the start of preseason training.
The Liverpool Echo says Arroyo is yet to make an appearance for Liverpool after joining from Fortaleza in his Colombian homeland in February 2018.
While Liverpool supporters the world over were still celebrating the £75million capture of Virgil van Dijk, Arroyo crept into the club in silence, signing for a nominal fee.
Work-permit issue have kept him out of the limelight at any level so far, with the full-back turning out for Mallorca and Gent in two loan spells.
Loan and pathways manager Julian Ward oversees the short-term transfers of Liverpool's youngsters and a decision will be taken carefully on Arroyo's next move.
Before any such deal is thrashed out, however, Arroyo could play a part in some of the Reds' pre-season friendlies, with the European champions kicking off their summer schedule at Tranmere on Thursday night.
