Anderlecht coach Vincent Kompany has opened talks with Manchester City about a new deal for Lukas Nmecha.
Currently on-loan for the season in Belgium, Nmecha's deal doesn't include a permanent option.
Anderlecht wish to keep the striker beyond this summer, though are unlikely to be capable of meeting City's valuation for the former Germany U21 striker.
Instead, reports Voetbal24, Anderlecht will lean on Kompany's relationship with City to find a creatie solution.
Anderlecht are open to including a buy-back option or agreeing another 12 month loan arrangement in order to hang onto Nmecha.
