Anderlecht are closing a deal for Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Mitrovic has agreed to return to Belgium today at Anderlecht.

The striker had a number of options to go elsewhere including Bordeaux and Hamburg.

Brighton made a £7m bid to sign him last week - but this was rejected because Newcastle didn't want to sell to a rival.
