Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti has jumped to the defence of underfire Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho has seen his United team lose three games in a week.

But Ancelotti told Sky Sports: "Mourinho? He has not a magic wand.

"All it takes is time. Last season did not go well for Manchester United, it is important not to forget."
