Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has fingers crossed that Petr Cech could be fit and ready for the start of the season. The Czech Republic international has been struggling with a calf injury but could feature in next weekend's Community Shield clash with Manchester United.
Hilario has been the man between the sticks in pre-season so far but Italian tactician Ancelotti hopes the 28 year old will return soon.
"We have some problems with the goalkeepers but it can happen in these moments of the season," he told Chelsea's official website.
"Now we have to maintain these keepers and we hope Petr Cech can recover well before the start of the season."
