Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admits the return to full fitness of Michael Essien has been massive.
Ancelotti acknowledges the part Essien is currently playing in keeping the goal-heavy start going.
"We missed him last year, the injury was very bad for us," the manager told chelseafc.com.
"We lost a fantastic player and now his contribution is fantastic. He came back from the injury very well, it is not easy after a year out to play like he is now. He is confident and starting to score goals. I hope he will be fit for all the year."
