Ancelotti admits Chelsea feel vindicated after transfer ban lifted

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti says the club feels vindicated after FIFA's transfer ban was scrapped last week.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport announced on Thursday that it had cleared Chelsea of any wrongdoing regarding the arrival of Gael Kakuta from France and it is a decision the manager agrees with.

"It is important because the club worked in the right way," Ancelotti told chelseafc.com.

"We didn't make a mistake, we didn't do something bad. We wanted to buy a good player like Kakuta and we followed the correct path.

"It is good because we have the possibility of thinking about new players now, although we have to decide who's best for us.

"But we have time to think about this,' he observes. 'For now we have to stay focused on the Champions League, the title and the FA Cup."
