Former Udinese striker Marcio Amoroso says imminent Juventus signing Kaio Jorge can be a star.

The Santos ace is set to sign for Juve this week.

Amoroso told Gazzetta dello Sport: "He has great potential. He has quality, he knows how to score, he just has to understand how Italian football works.

"He is around 1.8m, even more. The centimeters are there. As for the kilos, you will see that they will increase: in Italy he will gain 6-7 kilos of muscle. My son was in Italy to play and, after two years, he returned with a completely different physique.

"For him I hope he stays at Juve. As they say, if you play with the strong ones you become strong, if you play with the poor ones you become poor. For a year, that's okay, even as a fourth striker behind three important players like (Alvaro) Morata, (Cristiano) Ronaldo and (Paulo) Dybala."
