American businessman Chris Kirchner has made a £50million bid for Wayne Rooney's Derby County.
Kirchner a flying visit to the Midlands in his private jet to discuss bringing the club out of administration.
Owner of 'global solutions' Slync.io among other companies, Kirchner is expected to pass the 'fit and proper' tests and is armed with millions.
The Rams have been struck with a 12-point deduction on account of the club going into administration.
The ruling is currently being appealed by the Pride Park club.
Rooney's side are currently bottom of the Championship with 5 points, six points from safety.
