Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi wants more game time at the club.
The 28-year old Nigerian-born Englishman admits he is unhappy at the club but wants to try and perform whenever he is given an opportunity so he gives himself every chance of becoming a first team regular.
"The manager knows that I am unhappy," said Ameobi who scored a double in the Magpies' 4-3 Carling Cup win over Chelsea during the week.
"He knows that I want to be playing like every other guy who is not playing at the moment. So I have to do my talking on the pitch and hopefully that can push me up into the team on a regular basis.
