Former AC Milan and Chelsea goalkeeper Marco Amelia says Tottenham star Harry Kane should be playing for Livorno!

Amelia has always been close to Livorno president Aldo Spinelli.

And he revealed Kane almost joined the Serie A minnows as he was emerging through the ranks at Spurs.

“In 2013, Harry Kane was very close to Livorno and Spinelli is still kicking himself now," laughed Amelia on Mediaset, after the hat-trick in a 6-1 World Cup victory over Panama.

“It was the player at the time, still very young, who decided he wanted to stay in England."
