Amelia: Crisis has brought AC Milan players together

AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia insists the club's crisis has brought the players closer together.

Milan are enduring a dismal campaign.

"We are in crisis, we are not getting results and Milan are used to going for other objectives than this," Amelia told MilanNews.it. "We need to think about the ways in which we can come out if this and rediscover the philosophy that Milan are used to.

"We know that to do that we have to be giving a little bit more. We tried to do it against Parma after going out of the Champions League. In the first minutes we got ourselves into difficulty but we reacted well despite the fact we eventually lost.

"We are trying to do what Seedorf asks us to do to the best of our ability. We are not there to criticise the work of Clarence who everyone knows is a professional. What has been written in the newspapers doesn't interest us.

"We in the dressing room are united and I need to underline that.

"Otherwise, if it were true, you would see news coming out about bust ups. In Milanello, we have a feeling of being even more united, all the more because we are in a moment of difficulty.

"We are united and determined to get out of this situation."
