Ambrosini: Without Cech, Arsenal could've been humiliated

Former AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini says Arsenal couldn't live with Chelsea after halftime of last night's Europa League final.

Chelsea thrashed the Gunners 4-1 to win the title.

Ambrosini told Sky Italia: "They knew how to suffer. We have described the road of Chelsea as facilitated by the draw and instead they deservedly took the Cup, playing a first-half without big highs, intelligently they let Arsenal play but then in the second half when the shirts of Emery's team were not there they stepped up.

"If (Petr) Cech hadn't been there, surely the score would have been much heavier. Arsenal has left the field and Chelsea has not left it."
