English Championship outfit Brighton are going for Barcelona superkid Jean Marie Dongou.
The Daily Mail says Seagulls boss Oscar Garcia is ready to utilise his contacts in his native Spain with an audacious bid to lure Dongou from Barcelona.
Dongou, a Cameroon U20 international, was brought to Barca by Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o. He grabbed headlines last week when he came on as a substitute for Alexis Sanchez in Barcelona's Copa del Rey tie away at Cartagena and scored in a 4-1 win.
Dongou is only 18 but has shown an ability to compete physically with older players and is tipped for a bright future. Barcelona may yet decide though that the Championship is too big a risk.
