Almunia backing Kepa for Real Madrid move

Former Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia believes Kepa Arrizabalaga can be a success with Real Madrid.

The Athletic Bilbao No1 is expected to join Real next month.

Almunia, now working as a keeper coach in the UAE, told AS: "He's a very good Basque goalkeeper, with a lot of presence and character ... I do not know if he's ready for Real Madrid, but I have not seen him much.

"But that will come with a big insurance. I really like his legs. They are strong, and he has good feet, with a lot of mobility."
