Almeria have informed Manchester City of their asking price for centre-forward Umar Sadiq.

AS says City have joined the likes of Spartak Moscow and Eintracht Frankfurt in the race for the Nigeria international.

The report states that Sadiq would be signed as a City Football Group player.

And he will be sent out on loan to newly-promoted Troyes in France.

It is suggested that should Sadiq have a successful spell in the top flight of French football, he would be considered for a first team role at Man City.

First, City will have to tempt Almeria to sell and the striker has a £51.6million release clause.

But it is believed that the Spanish club will entertain offers nearer to £25.8m.
