Almeria defender Mane is set to join Villarreal.
The Champions League qualifiers have already swooped for Barcelona defender Edmilson and Real Valladolid striker Joseba Llorente - and are now in talks for Almeria's Mane.
Almeria have slapped a £5 million price-tag on the fullback and Villarreal hope to drive down the cash component by offering fringe players in part-exchange.
