Almeria coach Guti has taken aim at former club Real Madrid.
The Real Madrid hero is in his first season as a head coach with Segunda Division Almeria.
Speaking with Universo Valdano, Guti snapped: “I would have liked a recognition, a tribute match (when he left).
"I felt the emptiness from a club in which I spent a lot of time. The same thing happened to many Madrid players, they think they deserved more. Why I left? Because it was crowded."
Guti also revealed: "Because of my way of playing I was very wrong. I tell my players: I prefer one who gives 10 goal-making passes and misses 8 but gives two. Horizontal passes are useless."
He then went onto praise Barcelona captain Lionel Messi, adding: “I only know one player who has such a beastly success in every game. And it is Messi. Every time he goes out to the field something happens. The others have many ups and downs."
