Former Melbourne Victory and Al-Rayyan striker Danny Allsopp is reportedly looking sharp with DC United but is still yet to play any minutes despite the fact the team has not yet scored.

The Australian striker could have been used as a second-half substitute in the 2-0 loss to New England Revolution on the weekend when Christian Castillo came off injured but instead, coach Curt Onalfo went with South African forward Boyzzz Khumalo.

Surely Allsopp is close to a start as DC search for goals on the back of two scoreless losses.
