Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen is still unsure about his future at the club.

The 26-year-old, who has one year left on his current Reds deal, is not happy with his bit-part role in the team under manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Wales international says that he will take a decision regarding his future after looking at the pre-season plans of the Anfield club.

He said: "I can't say I have thought hard and long enough about it.

"I think it hinges on the pre-season plans and what exactly the club are hoping to do, their acquisitions and who they are going to get in.

"Until all that happens then it is difficult to answer that question. Yes, of course I want to play. I think the club understand that too."
