Tottenham development coach Clive Allen is excited about the prospects of Czech Republic teenage striker Tomas Pekhart.

He told the Spurs website: "Tomas had a fantastic season with the Academy before getting injured and because of the striking problems was pushed on into the reserves. The step he maybe found a little bit difficult at first and no doubt a goal would have helped him.

"The injury was a frustration for him, but he will come back next season as a far more experienced player and with a greater understanding of what is required to make progress next season."
