Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini is set to sign a new contract.

With Juve naming Max Allegri as coach, he wants Chiellini to stay another season - at the age of 36.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports Chiellini will now pen terms for another 12 months on orders from Allegri.

Chiellini moved to Juve 16 years ago from Roma, making over 400 league appearances and winning nine Serie A titles in the process.

He will captain Italy at this summer's Euros.
