Max Allegri admits he offered advice to Marco Giampaolo when he was in charge of AC Milan.
Before his success with Juventus, Allegri had a difficult spell at Milan - just like Giampaolo, who lasted only months in the job.
Allegri revealed: "I told him I don't give you advice, but I want to tell you one thing. You are at Milan, don't make a team of jerks because they split you in two, that's not the stadium to mess with.
"Do you want a central playmaker? It's not Suso, even if he is a good player. Adapt, if you don't have a director, nothing prevents you from playing with two central midfielders. The important thing is the quality of the players."
Giampaolo was sacked in October and replaced by Stefano Pioli.
