Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce is interested in Yann M'Vila, who played for him at Sunderland, reports the London Evening Standard.

The midfielder spent last season on loan at the Stadium of Light but recently signed a new contract with Rubin Kazan.

However, that deal with the Russian club is believed to have a clause allowing the 26-year-old to move to the Premier League for £12million.
