New Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce reportedly has his sights set on QPR striker Charlie Austin.
ESPN FC is reporting Allardyce is eager to bolster his options in the front third and has identified Austin as his primary target.
After scoring 18 goals in the Premier League last season, Austin has maintained his rich vein of form for QPR in the Championship, with seven goals in nine starts.
It is understood QPR may be looking to cash in on Austin in January, as he will become a free agent when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
