West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is delighted with their summer market work.
Speaking to West Ham TV, the manager spoke enthusiastically about the Club's recent arrivals. At the same time, Mohamed Diame was the only senior first-team squad member to leave after Hull City made a bid acceptable for a player in the final year of his contract.
"It has been a good window for us," Big Sam confirmed. "There are some players of development among our signings in young Sakho and Diego Poyet, particularly those two. There, we are hoping to develop them this season, but it may not be this season.
"All the others, we're hoping will adapt to be very successful, particularly Enner Valencia. However, he is the most difficult one coming from South America and from a club in Mexico, so we may need to be a little more patient with him.
"Of course, our injury list has been a little too long, but hopefully we will improve that by the time the window has shut."
