Former England coach Sam Allardyce can't see Carlo Ancelotti taking the Arsenal job.
Freddie Ljungberg's position as caretaker manager remains unclear as the club continue to plan for a full-time successor to Unai Emery: with the likes of Ancelotti in the running alongside the former Sweden international.
But Allardyce reckons that Arsenal's miserable form means Ancelotti would most likely reject the job offer.
He said: “I'm not so sure Ancelotti would want it.
“A manager of his calibre would look at the quality of the squad and wouldn't want to put his own reputation and career at that much risk."
