New Zealand national team coach Ricki Herbert is looking to lure New Zealand-born duo Michael McGlinchey and Rory Fallon.
22-year old McGlinchey was born in Wellington but has represented Scotland at youth level and has been plying his trade in the Scottish Premier League with Celtic and Dunfermline Athletic in recent times whilst 27-year old Gisborne-born Fallon has spent the 11 years in England with various clubs including Barnsley, Swindon Town, Swansea City and Plymouth Argyle.
Herbert is keen to get McGlinchey into an All Whites jersey after a FIFA rule was amended and would also extend an invitation to Fallon.
"I will definitely talk to those players. If they want to come on board, then great. If not, then we can move forward with what we've got," Herbert told The Dominion Post.
"Who knows who will come out of the rule change but definitely those two at this stage."
