Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman will remain in charge to the end of this season - no matter what happens in the club's election.

Sport says Koeman will be supported by the new president, barring a disastrous run of results.

Key to the decision is the pay-off required if Koeman and his support staff were to be removed, as such he will be kept on to the end of the campaign.

There would also be the investment needed for the new man and his team.
