Alexis Sanchez was back on the scoresheet as Arsenal came from behind to beat Koln 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.
The Gunners were stunned when they Jhon Cordoba opened the scoring for the visitors after nine minutes. The Colombian left David Ospina with no chance when he's forty-yard rocket flew over his head.
Fears of an upset were allayed shortly after the restart when Sead Kolasinac equalised for Arsenal. The Bosnian rifled home his volley as Theo Walcott's cross deflected into his path.
Sanchez then put the Gunners ahead with a superb 20-yard strike into the top corner.
Hector Bellerin made sure of the result with nine minutes remaining, finding the bottom corner after Walcott's shot was saved.
Arsene Wenger's side now turn their attentions to Sunday, when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
