Alexander Tettey: Norwich players prepared to play in front of empty stands

Norwich City midfielder Alexander Tettey will understand if some Premier League games are played in front of empty stands due to coronavirus concerns.

Tettey admits Norwich's players are watching developments closely.

He told VG: "We are watching the news. It is very serious. You can get sick, you can recover, but those who do not can lose their lives. This is something we have to take incredibly seriously.

"There is no problem playing with empty stands. It is certainly not very fun. It's probably not the case for the Premier League and its affiliates that make money for fans to come to matches. It is the fans who pay to watch matches, and we want fans, but if we have to play matches without fans, then we have to, because we do not want lives to be lost."
