Burnley veteran Graham Alexander says no-one is getting carried away after victory over Hull City.
The Clarets' victory, their fifth in six home games in the Premier League, came courtesy of a double from the 38-year-old Scot.
"It has been fantastic to be here over such a great period and hopefully it will continue this season and we'll achieve what we want," he said.
"It has whizzed by but it does when you're enjoying yourself. It has been fantastic for me coming here, I really enjoy my football and I hope it continues. There's no better place to play your football every single one of us has worked hard for it, we deserve our shot at it.
"It's important for every single one of us to prove ourselves at this level we're doing okay but we know there is a long way to go."
