Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to be fit for the start of Liverpool's preseason on July 12.
He suffered a devastating blow when a thigh injury picked up in the friendly against Austria on Wednesday, proved serious enough to rule him out of the European Championships.
There were fears the problem was so acute he could miss the start of the new season for his club.
But after returning to Anfield for assessment by Liverpool's own medical team, those worries were eased, with doctors suggesting he will be sidelined for around a month, says the Mirror.
Alexander-Arnold will now remain on Merseyside to begin his rehab with the club's physios, and he is hopeful he will be ready to return with the rest of the players by the second week of July.
The Reds are likely to have a training camp in France or Austria later in July and will then play a series of friendlies, though the club has yet to announce any dates.
