Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold admits his side put out a statement by winning 3-1 at Tottenham in the Premier League.
The Reds returned to scoring and winning ways in the league with an emphatic away win.
Goals from Alexander-Arnold, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane lifted the Reds to a result they badly needed.
Asked about the performance post-game, Alexander-Arnold told the club's website: "That was the case for us the last few years that we have been the team that no-one wants to play against, and maybe in the last few weeks that's changed a little bit.
"I think tonight was a statement to put that to bed and we are looking like that team that no-one wants to play against.
"We punished the opposition with the mistakes and we capitalised on chances and scored goals. It was disappointing not to get the clean sheet but we can't be perfect at the end of the day.
He added: "It's been a poor run of results, which we can't really afford, so it was important for us to come here and get a result.
"We wanted to come here and take the three points and we've been able to do that with an unbelievable performance from the lads."
