Alex Runarsson was delighted to make a winning debut for Arsenal in victory over Europa League opponents Dundalk.
The Iceland goalkeeper managed a clean sheet for the 3-0 win.
"I am proud to have achieved this feat, and I am proud of the team and that we got a 3-0 victory. All the matches in Europe are tough, so I'm really happy," he said at the final whistle.
"We have joined the group as favourites, so we have to aim for first place.
"But as I said, all matches in Europe are difficult, and we saw that last week against Rapid."
