Olympique Marseille midfielder Dimitri Payet has been offered to former club West Ham.

L'Equipe says newly hired English intermediary Paul Aldridge is driving the deal and just days into his appointment he's already offered Payet back to the Irons.

Aldridge's brief is to work the Premier League market to find big money sales for OM's players as they seek to cover their outstanding debts.

Payet enjoyed two superb years with the Hammers before re-signing for OM in 2017.

OM are keen to sell - and quickly - with Payet among the club's highest earners.
