Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld admits their Champions League semi with Ajax will be emotional.
Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Davinson Sanchez are set for an emotional return to their former club Ajax in the Champions League semi-finals.
Alderweireld announced on social media that "boys are coming home" following yesterday's victory over Manchester City.
He was quick to point out Ajax can expect their former players soon.
He shared a picture from yesterday's game at the Etihad on Twitter, captioning it: "We are making history!"
Alderweireld then added "Ajax your boys are coming home," tagging the other former players of the Amsterdam outfit.
