Aston Villa winger Marc Albrighton hopes the fans are enjoying seeing so many youngsters get their chance this season.

Academy graduates Albrighton, Gabby Agbonlahor, Barry Bannan and debutant Jonathan Hogg helped Stewart Downing and Ashley Young terrorise Manchester United on Saturday.

"I hope it is nice for the fans," said Albrighton. "I know the young boys are all over the moon.

"Even the ones in the youth team can see a chance because they know if they play well, this gaffer is going to put you in - he is not afraid.

"It showed with the youngsters on the pitch in a massive game against United that he is not scared to use us.

"The reserves in the last two or three seasons have been absolutely fantastic and now we are proving that on the Premier League stage. Hopefully we will build on that and it will be the future of the club."
