Marc Albrighton says the Leicester City players are "absolutely drained" after a horrible two weeks for the club.
Foxes owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was one of five people killed in a helicopter crash on October 27.
The club decided to play against Cardiff the following weekend and drew 0-0 with Burnley on Saturday in their first game at King Power Stadium since the shocking incident.
Leicester have given all the players and employees Monday off this week and Albrighton has admitted it is a well needed break.
"The last two weeks have been a bit of a blur and we've not really had time to reflect on everything that's happened," said Albrighton.
"It's a good time to have a break and refocus. We're absolutely drained, mentally and emotionally. It's important that we get back to our families."
