Former AC Milan midfielder Demetrio Albertini has urged his former club to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi.

The Belgium international has struggled for regular game time at Anfield, despite playing a crucial role in Liverpool's success in recent years.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away and Albertini believes Serie A would suit the Liverpool man.

"Now Milan has to focus on such strong but closed strikers in their club," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I think to Divock Origi of Liverpool, in Serie A would score a lot."
