Alaves striker Munir El Haddadi: Morocco want me to play in World Cup

Alaves striker Munir El Haddadi admits he wants to play for Morocco.

Capped by Spain, the on-loan Barcelona striker could yet become eligible on appeal to FIFA. Munir aims to play for Morocco in the World Cup next year.

The striker has admitted that he had received a call from the Moroccan FA (FRMF) and they stated that he had "the possibility of being able to play with Morocco" despite having represented Spain at first team level and they were doing "everything in their powers to make things happen".

The FRMF added that an appeal has been launched with no indication of a resolution date.
