Alaves defender Guillermo Maripán isn't getting carried away with interest from Barcelona.

Maripan's agent has declared Barca are interested in his client, though it's understood any deal would be for the summer market.

He said, "These are things that I usually leave in the hands of my representative.

"What I do think about is this club and playing with Alavés."

On victory over Valencia, he added: "We are in a good moment and we have to take advantage of it, they put themselves ahead but then we were able to react and get the three points."
