Manchester City have made an offer for Al Shorta sensation Mohanad Ali.

The teenage Iraq international has been subject of confirmed bids from Manchester United and Juventus, but it's now been revealed City have made an offer.

Al Shorta coach Nebojsa Jovovic declared: "Yes, Mohanad Ali is the subject of an offer from Manchester City.

"He has all the qualities to adapt and succeed in England."

Ali, however, is reluctant to leave for Europe, instead is leaning towards a switch to Al Ain.

City are now in talks with the attacker's management team about convincing him over a move to England.
