Newcastle United's Cheick Tiote is the subject of interest from Al-Jazira Club, according to reports.
Sky Sports News HQ suggests that the UAE Pro-League outfit have tabled an offer for the hard-nosed Ivory Coast midfielder.
30-year-old Tiote, who was not a part of the Magpies squad for their pre-season clash wth Southend United on Tuesday night, has a year to run on his current deal which could prompt the relegated Toon to cash in.
Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua were close to signing Tiote in January but a deal fell over at the last minute. He is now wanted by Abu Dhabi-based Al-Jazira who are managed by former Barcelona and Chelsea assistant Henk ten Cate.
