Al Hilal have made signing Leo Messi a summer priority - but are insisting nothing is yet agreed.

Amid claims of a €1bn agreement with Messi as he comes off contract at PSG next month, Al Hilal insist nothing has been settled with Messi nor his father and agent, Jorge Messi.

Mundo Deportivo says club insiders insist there is nothing signed and no verbal agreement. However, they do admit that they are in contact to try to reach positions with Messi's management.

But they confirm what Jorge Messi already made clear in his statement last Tuesday: that nothing has been agreed.

Al Hilal's priority is to sign Messi. He is the great objective and they do not hide this.

For now, they will have to wait and they will also leave all other options on 'stand by': like that of Barcelona captain Sergi Busquets, who is also one of the players they have taken an interest in over recent days.
