Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim insists his takeover of Portsmouth remains on course.

A source told The News: "Nothing has changed whatsoever, nothing at all.

"No issues have been thrown up at this moment in time through the due diligence process and it continues to be full steam ahead.

"The doctor is as impatient as supporters to come through the process and take over the football club.

"It is on-going and the length of the due diligence process is entirely natural. There are no short cuts to be found, it has to be thorough.

"Everything is as it should be."
