Ajax striker Sebastien Haller has broken his silence on not being registered for the Europa League.
The signing from West Ham failed to be listed by Ajax as they submitted their squad to UEFA last week.
Haller told AD: "After hearing it, I did not really understand what had happened. So how is that possible, I thought. Subsequently, you realise that you can do nothing about it. I was disappointed, but there is nothing you can do about it.
"I have spoken to the person in charge and listen here. I'm the first to make mistakes every single day. It has not been an easy situation for both of us. Not even for the club. So it is important to stick together, win matches and show that we are strong."
