Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld remains on the radar of former club Ajax.
Alderweireld, 32, has previously been said to be a dream signing for Club Brugge.
However, Voetbalkrant says Ajax also wants the Belgium international.
Ajax are said to be keen to sign Alderweireld - who left for Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2013.
The 32-year-old has been with Tottenham since the summer of 2015. The defender's current contract runs to 2023.
